One of the things that confuse people is the idea that there is a continuum with socialism on the left end and fascism on the right end and that the two are very different.  Actually, they meet in the middle and they are very similar.  To have fascism or socialism you have to have a marriage between the state and business.  Either the state owns the means of production as it does in a socialist country or the state and the corporations combine and form “corporate socialism”.  It doesn’t matter to the average person whether the government owns the means of production or the state and the corporations combine and own the means of production. To the average person, either/or, it is the same effect.  We are going to be controlled, the economy is going to be controlled, and our freedoms are going to be eliminated.  In the end, what difference does it make?  In either event, it is a beast that has to be destroyed.
